-The selection box Vol.5 is the fifth of a series of limited boxes that appear for a limited time in the digital card game Yu-Gi-Oh!! duel links, it contains powerful newly released cards and reprints from previous boxes. in this article, I will be showcasing the top cards that would be released in this volume with tips and statistics on their playability from the TCG.

1. Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer

A level-8 dragon synchro monster that works as spot removal for monsters or pendulum monsters in the pendulum zones. it also works as an extender by using its second effect which will allow you to special summon a "dracoslayer" monster from the deck.

Tips:

• Note that since this card's first effect can target 1 card in any of the Pendulum Zones, your opponent's Pendulum Scales can be destroyed, and shuffle a card back in the Deck, with no cost.

• This card's effect doesn't target the card to be shuffled, so it is effective against "Lunalight saber dancer", "Maiden with Eyes of Blue" etc.

• In a "Yang Zing" Deck, this card can be Synchro Summoned by using the effect of "Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing"

2. Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer

A rank-4 XYZ monster that can add a pendulum monster from the deck to the hand also can special summon face-up "dracoslayer" monster from the extra deck.

3. Apprentice Illusion Magician

A level 6 spellcaster effect monster that can special summon itself by discarding a card, this card can be used to add "Dark magician" when it is summoned or to boost the attack of dark spellcaster monsters.

Tips:

• This card can be searched by "Magician Navigation", "Lemon Magician Girl"  "Magician's Circle" and "Ebon High Magician"

• Pendulum Summon this card to search "Dark Magician" without needing to discard.

4. Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning

A classic "chaos" monster that must be special summoned by banishing light and dark from the GY. it can remove opponent monsters by banishing them or OTK the opponent by making a second attack.

5. True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher

A level 9 wyrm monster that has the effect of destroying monsters from the hand and your field to be special summoned also it can banish monsters from the opponent field or GY.

Tips:

• This card's first effect can be useful in "Fire King" and "Yang Zing" Decks, as it can trigger their monsters' effects by destroying them.

• "Fire King Island" can be used to trigger its second effect since it doesn't have to be destroyed on the field.

• "Bottomless Trap Hole" can also trigger its second effect as it doesn't have to be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.

•  if this card's effect is used to destroy two "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" at the same time while a "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" is on your field, an infinite loop will be formed

6. Bottomless Trap Hole

A classic normal trap card that destroys and banishes the destroyed monster with 1500ATK or more.

Tips:

• This card is more effective against effects or actions that can Summon two or more monsters, to banish all of them at once, like "Rescue Rabbit", "Ultimate Fire Formation - Seito", "Rekindling", Pendulum Summoning, etc.
